Google teases a brand new AI video model

Google's Lumiere AI is a groundbreaking video generation tool that pushes the boundaries of AI-generated video content. It creates highly realistic or surrealistic short video clips in response to textual prompts, demonstrating remarkable versatility in animating still images or transforming parts of them in creative ways. The model's "Inpainting" feature stands out for its ability to seamlessly fill in edited parts of a video, making unwanted elements disappear as if they were never there. As a research project, Lumiere is not yet commercially available, but it showcases the potential for future applications in various fields, from entertainment to content creation. This leap in technology highlights the rapid advancements in AI and its increasingly sophisticated ability to understand and manipulate video content in ways previously unimaginable.

Unfortunately this new video model is not yet available but looking at the stunning demo footage we can’t wait to get our hands on it!

Leonardo releases a new upscaler

This week, Leonardo has released a brand new ‘Universal Upscaler’ to members of the Leonardo Creator Program and other alpha testers. We have had the privilege to play with it and we can honestly say that this upscaler is incredible. We will say that Magnific.ai is still the king of all upscalers and we don’t expect that to change any time soon but truth be told, this upscaler by Leonardo comes pretty close. And they haven’t even implemented all the planned features yet. The upscaler has not yet been released to the general public but we expect this to happen soon.

Check out the below post for an example of what this new upscaler can do.

Midjourney released version 6 of their Niji model

Midjourney has released a new version of their beloved Niji model. Niji is a model that focuses on an anime themed style but it can be used for other things as well. Check out the below thread on X for some amazing examples of what this new model can do.

And that’s a wrap

That’s it for this week. Thank you for your support and see you again next week! Got a tip, want to be featured, interviewed, or have something you think should make it into next week's edition? Reach out to Marco or Ben on X, or drop us an email at [email protected]. Your input is always welcome!
